i, I'm Claire. I am a private Midwife offering continuity of care and homebirth options to women and birthing people in North East Country Victoria and the New South Wales Border region.
I created Your Birth Midwifery in 2020 just after the birth of our son (#TheLittlestBirthWorker) to fill a gap in the maternity choices available in this region.
I am still driven by the power and passion of women and birthing people and especially love when I get to work alongside my wife (and sometimes even baby) in the birth space. Just imagine all that Oxytocin fuel for everyone!
Rhia will tell you she's glad I'm the cook in our family! I don't think any of us would enjoy the alternative!!!
I love watching cooking shows and being inspired to try new things in the kitchen. But being a Mum, I am truly sick of having to decide what's for dinner every night!
My family is so important to me. Birth on-call aside, I am home every night for dinner with my wife and babies where we get to hang out and chat about our days.
Know what I mean?!
On-Call life is challenging but we make it work and it's so worth it to be part of such amazing, empowering birth experiences!
I spend a lot of time on the road so Audible has become my new favourite thing! Seriously, reach out if you have any recommendations. I'm always looking for new things to listen to - especially horror and ghost stories!

am a passionate Occupational Therapist who understands the importance of surrounding yourself with the right people and choosing the best environment to achieve your goals.
My own experience of the mainstream maternity system looked nothing like I wanted it too so I became driven to offer a service of support to birthing people during this incredible rite of passage.
Several years and another baby later, I am committed to helping women and birthing people, and their families work out what’s most important to them about meeting their new baby and if I’m a good fit for their Dream Birth Squad, being there to document it as your homebirth specialist Birth Photographer.
e passionately believe that the best outcomes come from the best planning. That whole 'if you don't make plans to succeed then you actually plan to fail' thing.
We know you want the best outcome for your family and you understand that means the best outcome for yourself too.
Occupational Therapy and Woman Centred Midwifery both understand the fundamental, evidence-based truth that to achieve the best outcome you need to be in the best place, surrounded by the best people for the job.
The best person for the job of birthing is you, the birthing person.
The best place is where you feel most relaxed, most at home, most supported to be yourself. The best people to surround yourself with are people who believe in your capacity and strength to birth your baby
We believe that choosing Your Dream Birth Squad is fundamental to achieving your goals.
